wo leaders of the branch Chhatra League came under fire from the students when they came to take the exam at the Islamic University (EB). The incident took place in front of Rabindra Nazrul Kala Bhavan of the university on Wednesday afternoon.

At that time, the university administration and the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement handed them over to the police. The two Chhatra League leaders who came under fire are - Relief and Disaster Management Secretary Shahinur Pasha and Drama and Debate Secretary Al Amin. Both of them are students of the university's Arabic language and literature department in the academic year 2019-20.
It is known that the semester final exam of 2019-20 academic year was going on in the Arabic department today. They come to the exam without informing the teachers of the department. At the end of the exam, after getting the news that the two leaders were coming to give the exam, the ordinary students gathered in front of the department and started shouting slogans. Later, the students blocked the way when the teachers tried to evict them in the university car. Meanwhile, the university administration and the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement rescued them from mob justice. Later they were handed over to the police custody of EB police station in the presence of the proctor.
In this regard, the two BCL leaders said that today was the last exam of this semester and it would have been a loss if it was not given today. But we made a mistake by not informing the teachers of the department. But our test went well.
In this regard, Proctor Professor Shahinuzzaman said, as soon as we came to know about it, we attended the scene and gave importance to ensure that mob justice is not meted out to them. The coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement have safely handed over to the police station.
