Dismissal from academic activities on the charge of having an immoral relationship with a female student

Allegations of immoral relationship between a teacher and a student of Pabna Science and Technology University. After filing a written complaint in this incident, the accused teacher has been dismissed from the academic activities of the university. The university is criticized because the student is Muslim and the teacher is unmarried but belongs to Sanatan religion.
The accused teacher, Subrata Kumar Biswas, is an assistant professor in the social work department of the university and a resident of the post office area of Ishwardi town in Pabna and the victim is an evening batch student of Masters in the same department.
According to the written complaint and university sources, teacher Subrata Kumar Biswas had a love relationship with the student for several years. At one point they got involved in physical relationship with the promise of marriage. But the teacher Subrata later refused to marry the student. The victim student filed a written complaint with the chairman of the department demanding forced marriage. After that, when the matter became known, criticism started throughout the university.
Confirming the matter, Khadijatul Kubra, chairman of the social work department of the university, said, 'We have investigated and found the truth of the incident after receiving the complaint. For this reason, I have exempted the teacher from all academic activities including class-examination. I have submitted an investigation report to the registrar of the university along with the vice chancellor sir on behalf of my department to take action in this regard.
In this regard, the newly appointed vice-chancellor of the university. SM Abdul Awal said, 'I have come to know the matter. I have been informed by that department. As the University has a full-fledged Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell. I asked them to investigate the matter. If the truth is found then he will be given a proper trial.'
The accused teacher Subrata Kumar Biswas's mobile number was contacted several times on Wednesday but he did not get any response. Despite sending a message on his WhatsApp, he did not respond.
