EB student harassed by outsider

A student of Islamic University (EB) was harassed by an outsider. The incident took place on Monday (October 14) on the way back to the campus from Kushtia at around 8 pm. Later, the accused was released on bail at EB police station.
The accused is Jewel Ahmed Raju (42), son of deceased Sirajul Islam of Arappur village of Jhenaidah Sadar upazila. He is an easy bike driver by profession.
It is known that the victim student left Kushtia for the campus by Lyle bus. Accused Raju harassed her in various ways in the bus. Meanwhile, Raju wants to see the ticket from that girl. When the victim refused to show the ticket, Raju forced her to remove her hijab and harassed her in various ways including pulling her by the hand. After getting down from the bus, the victim informed his friends and the friends handed over the accused to EB police station.
Later, accused Raju was released from the police station on bail in the presence of his guardian.
