Islamic University (EB) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqeeb M Nasrullah visited two residential halls of the university during the holidays. Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor exchanged views with the students and inquired about the whole matter.

On Thursday (October 17) around 1 pm, Sheikh Russell visited the dining hall, library. Later Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman visited the hall. Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies of the University. ABM Siddiqur Rahman Ashrafi was present.
It is known that the Vice-Chancellor inquires about the students, whether the quality of food in the dining hall is good, whether there are enough books in the library, whether there are any demands or whether anyone is facing any difficulties. During this, the students expressed their demands and expectations.
Arnab Hasan, resident student of Sheikh Russell Hall, said, "We are very happy that the Vice-Chancellor of the University has visited our hall. We have been making many demands for a long time, but due to the absence of the Provost, we could not reach those demands to the proper authorities. A few days ago, our provost was appointed, even though he had an exchange of views with the students, the VC sir came and met us before that. We as common students are excited to see this. We raise some demands to VC Sir. For example: The space of the reading room in the hall is very less, so partition the TV room and arrange the reading room there, change the chef to change the quality and taste of the food, so that there is transparency in the calculation of hall fees.
After inspecting the hall and following the demands of the students, the Vice-Chancellor assured an immediate change. If these demands are not fulfilled within a few days, he assured to sit with the students again.
