Coordinators of Islamic University (IU) anti-discrimination student movement visited the grave of Osama martyred in the mass uprising of students. On Friday (November 15) at 12:30 p.m., the coordinators left the university by bus for the purpose of pilgrimage to the grave of martyr Osama. Later, at the end of Jumma Namaz at Dahkula Jame Masjid, they visited Osama's grave and distributed Tobarak among Muslims to pray for the peace of Osama's soul.
Zainal Abedin, father of Martyr Osama, was present at the grave Ziarat along with Anti Discrimination Student Movement IU Coordinator SM Sweet, Co-Coordinator Tanveer Mandal, Gholam Rabbani, Sajjad Hossain, Mubashvir Amin and Sabbir Hossain.
It is known that martyr Osama is the second child of Zainal Abedin of Dahkula village. He was a first year student of Alim at Kushtia Sadar Kuatul Islam Kamil Madrasa. On August 5, he was martyred by the police during an anti-discrimination student movement.
Before the pilgrimage, coordinator SM Sweet said that in the past 15 years, the Awami League government has taken such unfair actions to suppress its dissent which they did not do. Imprisoning people for no reason, unjustly hanging people on the gallows with oppression. Even if he could not do that, Ayana kept him imprisoned in the house and brutally tortured him. In view of that, we got an independent state today in the movement of anti-discrimination students.
He further said, 'Today, on the 100th day of the successful uprising of the students, we are meeting the families of the martyrs and the injured. Dahkula Basi you are very lucky. Because you got a martyr. We are working from the place of responsibility of the brothers like Osama who were martyred in the construction of a non-discrimination society and we will all work in the construction of the society that thousands of martyred brothers had the desire to implement a non-discrimination society.'
