The university authorities have banned the use of any type of sound microphones in the Islamic University (IU) to prevent noise pollution. The order was issued in a statement signed by Proctor Professor Dr. Shahinuzzaman on Saturday (November 30) by the university authorities.
According to the statement, it is requested not to use any type of sound microphones inside the Islamic University to prevent noise pollution. If a sound microphone is used in an emergency, it must be used with the prior written permission of the proctor.
In this regard, the university's proctor Professor Dr. Shahinuzzaman said, 'From time to time, students are having problems taking exams of various departments due to the use of microphones inside the university. Besides, noise pollution is also occurring. In order to prevent noise pollution including conducting class exams safely, no one should use sound microphones without my permission. Everyone's cooperation is desired for this.'
