Citizens mourn the death of cultist Devabrat Baksi Bulbul in Kurigram

A civil mourning ceremony was held in Kurigram for the death of valiant freedom fighter, prominent dramatist, dramatist, lyricist and culture man Devabrata Baksi Bulbul. Eminent journalist Shyamal Bhowmik presided over the condolence meeting held at Syed Shamsul Haque Auditorium of Kurigram Press Club at 4 pm on Monday.

Poet Joti Ahmed spoke on the occasion, brave freedom fighter SM Harun or Rashid Lal, former civil surgeon Dr. SM Aminul Islam, Social Worker Manik Chowdhury, Women Council President Roshan Ara Chowdhury, SANAC President Advocate Ahsan Habib Neelu, Press Club President Raju Mostafiz, General Secretary Abdul Khalek Farooq, Culture Jan Dulal Bose, Yusuf Alamgir, Habibur Rahman Dulal, Altaf Hossain, Iqbal Hossain Babla, Ashish Baksi, Partha Pratim Chakraborty, son of the late Mithun Kumar Baksi etc.
The speakers said that an initiative was taken to publish a book to preserve all kinds of writings and achievements of the late Devabrat Baksi Bulbul, who is respected by all.
