Protest march demanding removal of UP Chairman

A protest march and rally was held at Rajarhat in Kurigram demanding the removal of a UP chairman. On Monday (September 2) at noon, the students of Rajarhat Upazila and UP members took out a protest march demanding the removal of Rajarhat Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Md. Enamul Haque from Railway Station Road and circled the main main road of the upazila.
Later, Upazila BNP President Anichur Rahman, General Secretary Sahidul Islam, Press Club Rajarhat President Abdul Quddus, Upazila Volunteer Party President Anichur Rahman Liton, Upazila Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Coordinator Al Mizanur Mahin, Moshiur Rahman, Shah-Riar Ahmed, Mozammel addressed the rally at Rajarhat Sonali Bank Square. Haque, former UP members Shahidul Islam Babu, Mahbubur Rahman, Upazila Bankers Association General Secretary A Razzak Raj, Upazila Youth Dal Member Secretary Nayan Ali, Panel Chairman Shahidul Islam Bepari etc. The speakers said that within 24 hours the corrupt Rajarhat Sadar UP Chairman Md Enamul Haque is removed with the demand of resignation and expressed the determination of the students to continue this movement.
Speakers also said that Enamul Haque, a fraudster and corruptor, changed his form again and again. At first he was active with Jatiya Party politics, but later he joined Awami League in exchange of money and in the last two UP elections, he was elected chairman of Rajarhat Sadar Union Parishad with the boat symbol through party influence and became the owner of illegal wealth with the help of some local Awami League miscreants.
On the other hand, on Monday (September 2nd) at noon, the upazila anti-discrimination students took out a protest march and circled the main main road of the city to demand the removal of corrupt officials from all institutions of the upazila.
