In Chittagong, procession-oriented people flocked to the festival

Some on foot, some on motorcycles and some on trucks or pickups are running towards Muradpur of Chittagong to take part in the procession. Children and old people are also taking part in the procession in the traditional celebration of Ya Nabi Salam Alaika.
Many people have come from different upazilas and districts of Chittagong to participate in the procession since Monday morning.
There is no place for devout Muslims to walk in processions in various areas including Muradpur, Sholshahar, Gate No. 2, Chowkbazar, Oxygen, Bayezid, GEC Mor, Technical Mor, Mohammadpur, Bahaddarhat.
Meanwhile, Chittagong is colorfully decorated on the occasion of Julus. Arches have been installed at various intersections. The banner-festoon is pasted. Special flags have also been planted on both sides of the road. There are also temporary shops for various items including food. Volunteers are distributing sherbet at different intersections. A large number of law enforcement personnel are present in the entire area
