Allegations of vandalism and looting of Savar's business establishments

Miscreants attacked and looted businesses and cattle farms in Savar. The incident took place in Solai Market area of Bhakurta Union on Wednesday night. The victim businessman Abdur Rahman filed a complaint with Savar Model Police Station as the plaintiff. Police visited the spot.
The accused in the incident are Sohail (35) of Bhakurta Luterchar area, Asad Ullah (35) son of Golam Mustafa of Bhakurta, and Ebadullah (28), Mosleh Uddin Masu (50) son of deceased Siraj Uddin Seron, Amjad Hossain (23) son of Mosleh Uddin Masu, Golam Mustafa's son Maruf (30), 7. Rahmat Ali (30), Sujan (32), Amjad Hossain (32), son of Zahirul Islam Goal of Hindu Bhakurta, Zakir Hossain (32), son of Ali Akbar, Rafiqul Islam (45), son of deceased Mosleh Uddin, Al Islam (35), son of deceased Lat Mia. ), Nazrul Islam (45), son of deceased Noor Mohammad, against 100/150 others, including unknown persons.
According to the complaint, a cow farm called RR Agro Farm, an Internet connection company called Indo Internet Service and Bhakurta Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., located near Solai Market in Bhakurta Union, have been obstructing the business of Abdur Rahman, the owner of the company, for some days. Attempts and threats to harm the business have been made. In view of that, on Wednesday night, a number identified himself as Sohail Maruf, abused Abdur Rahman in various obscenities and threatened to kill and injure him and said that he has to reconcile with that person. Tana Hall would not allow Abdur Rahman to do business and threatened to loot his business and set it on fire. Later late at night, the accused armed with various indigenous weapons came to the illegal mob, broke the lock of the door of his office and farm, vandalized and looted the office and looted various goods including cows in a pick-up car. After receiving the news, Abdur Rahman immediately came to the office and saw that the office lock was broken and the office goods were vandalized. The steel almirah in the office worth Tk 30,000, 3 OST server machines used for internet connection worth Tk 4 lakh and 50 thousand, network accessories worth Tk 3 lakh. 2 IPS worth Tk 1 lakh 90 thousand, various furniture including office chairs, tables, sofas Tk 2 lakh, 1 Mycotech machine worth Tk 75 thousand, CCTV cameras and devices worth Tk 1 lakh, 4 bulls of the farm with an estimated value of Tk 6 lakh, 2 ceiling fans 7 thousand The defendants looted goods worth 18 lakh 72 thousand rupees including cash. And caused an estimated loss of Rs 5 lakhs by vandalizing various goods. Apart from this, the owner Haji Md. Yakub Ali (55) and his employee Md. Anwarul Islam Mojib (35) tried to stop the defendants during the incident in his office house. Defendants No. 1 and 2 beat him with a stick and threatened the office employee with various injuries on his body. It has also been mentioned in the complaint.
