Alleged fraud in the appointment of Hatibandha teachers - press conference

Two lecturers named Satyendranath Sajwal and Aftabur Rahman held a press conference accusing them of corruption and cheating in the recruitment of teachers. Satyendranath Sajwal held this press conference at his home in Gotamari Union of Hatibandha Upazila of Lalmonirhat on Monday afternoon.
In the complaint, he said that Acting Principal Jyotish Chandra Barman tried to join the MPO by secretly appointing a fake person in Parulia Scheduled High School and College of Patikapara Union of Hatibandha Upazila, excluding the legitimate lecturer appointed as per the rules. In the press conference, Satyendranath Sajwal said that I was appointed as per the rules of Parulia Scheduled High School and College and joined on 15/1 2015 and my colleague Md. Aftabur Rahman joined on 3/1/2013. Since then we have been fulfilling our duties in the college with devotion. From 2015 to 2022, our names were listed in Benbeich, but in 2024, acting principal Jyotish Chandra Burman, on the advice of current president Awami League leader Patikapara Union Chairman Mojibul Alam Sadat, secretly again appointed two people illegally and canceled our names in Benbeich and included the names of two people who were illegally appointed. When we protested against this, Awami League leader Mujibul Alam Sadat threatened us to disappear in a sabotage case. Later we complained to the Director General of Education Department on 18-9-2023 in this regard. Acting Principal Jyotish Chandra Barman said that the allegations leveled against me are false and fabricated. In this regard, the victim teacher sought the cooperation of the concerned officials including the Directorate of Education.
