A solo concert by artist Shishir Rahman of Betar Kendra at Chowrasta Bazar in Tentulia

Tourists enjoyed a solo concert by Bangladesh Television and Betar listed folk artist Shishir Rahman at Tentulia in Panchagarh. On Saturday (October 12) night, Tentulia Journalist Welfare Association organized this single concert to entertain the tourists who came to enjoy the beauty of Tentulia, the tourist industry area of the district.
President of Journalist Welfare Association, journalist MA Baset, was present as an invited guest, former upazila chairman of Tentulia upazila and member secretary of BNP, Rezaul Karim Shahin, founder of Journalist Welfare Association and editor of daily Sabuj Nishan Ed. Mu.Abu Saeed Sohan, editor and publisher of Daily Tarmigan Muhammad Salim, businessman Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Alokita Bangladesh Munshiganj correspondent Masud Rana and Farhad Hossain of Daily Tribunal, Convener of Tentulia Press Club Jabedur Rahman Jabed, Joint Convener Atikuzzaman Shakeel, Convener Committee member and journalist. Hundreds of local and tourist visitors along with the general secretary of Kalyan Samiti SK Doel, Julhas Uddin, Ahsan Habib and other organizations.
At this time, BTV and Betar artist Shishir Rahman performed all popular songs in a solo concert, enthralling the tourists and local audience. In addition to Shishir Rahman, local artists Aman Ullah Chowdhury and Khademul Islam sang songs in this event which lasted for about three hours. Cultural activist and journalist Mostak Ahmed moderated the program.
In the speech of the invited guest, Rezaul Karim Shahin said, Tentulia is a popular area in Bangladesh. If you take the name of Teknaf, you have to take the name of tamarind. Best known to everyone as a tourist industry area. Our Tentulia attracts a lot of tourists especially to see the Kanchenjunga. Thank you for this arrangement of Journalist Welfare Association of Tentulia to entertain these people. We will have cooperation from BNP in this kind of arrangement.
The organizers said, Rupsa to Pathuria, Teknaf to Tentulia. Tentulia is the northernmost upazila of the country. Everyone knows this border district by the same name. The tri-border region is best known as a tourist area. The world's highest double mountain peaks Himalaya-Kanchenjunga can be seen from here only from here in the country. Hundreds of tourists gather every day at this time every year to see this Himalaya-Kanchenjunga. Tourists can visit various places of interest and learn about the art, culture, history and environment here. So we are organizing this event to entertain the tourists in the development of the tourism industry.
