Conscious Consumers Society (CCS) and Consumer Youth Bangladesh (CYB) formed a human chain in front of the District Commissioner's office in Noakhali on Monday (November 18) morning. Meanwhile, they demanded action against the potato syndicate and urged the government to bring the market within the reach of common people.
Meanwhile, Consumer Youth Bangladesh (CYB) Nobiprobi President Mahmudul Hasan Arif said, "The abnormal price increase of daily necessities is happening due to the manipulation of dishonest and profiteering traders. Syndicaters have increased the price of potatoes by holding consumers hostage. Although the dictatorial government fell through the mass upheaval, the market syndicators and extortionists did not. They remain. Due to this cycle, all the daily necessities have gone beyond the purchasing power of people. Strict action should be taken against them by breaking this dishonest cycle. Besides, I call on the government to demand action against the potato syndicate and bring the market within the reach of common people. "

At the end of the human chain, they submitted a memorandum to Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbik Md Ismail demanding action against the potato syndicate.
