Savar 3rd class student arrested in attempted rape case-1

The police have arrested an accused named Abdul Latif (48) in the attempted rape of a 10-year-old student in Savar. The incident took place in Imandipur area of Savar municipality on Monday. In this incident, the mother of the child became the plaintiff and filed rape attempt case no. 41 at Savar Model Police Station.
According to the complaint of the case, the mother of the attempted rape child went to work in the factory as usual, being a garment worker. On that occasion, Abdul Latif found the child alone and tried to rape him. Later, the accused ran away when the people around came forward on hearing the child's call. Later this Tuesday morning, the police arrested the accused Abdul Latif with the help of local residents.
In this regard, SI Abdur Rahim of Savar Model Police Station said that the accused will be arrested this morning and will be sent to the court asking for a 7-day remand. Legal action will be taken after the court's decision.
