Awami League Joint General Secretary and Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud has alleged that BNP-Jamaat has entered the quota reform movement.
He said that the BNP has entered the Jamaat quota without being able to thwart the elections.
Hashan Mahmud said these words at the discussion meeting of Dhaka District Awami League in Tejgaon on the occasion of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina's imprisonment day on Tuesday (July 16).
Regarding the quota reform movement, Hashan Mahmud said that when some students are agitating for quota reform, BNP-Jamaat is trying to take advantage. Under the guise of quota, they have taken it as an opportunity to carry out anti-government and anti-state activities. That is why the slogans of Razaka are raised in Dhaka University, the quota reform activists do not follow the constitution and law.
