Then a discussion was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office. Sub-Divisional Engineers of the Public Works Department Shahidul Hasan and Shafiqul Islam, Sub-Divisional Engineer of the Roads and Highways Department Sujat Kazi and government officials and employees were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahirul Islam said that settlements are developed where the necessary needs of people are met. When building houses, take care of yourself. Responsibility cannot be avoided. Be careful. Public works work is done in government buildings. They are not taken care of like private buildings. If the right amount of materials is not provided, then it will not last long. A building should last for 50 years properly.
