How Osman Hadi was shot

Inqilab Manch spokesperson and Dhaka-8 constituency candidate Sharif Osman Hadi was seriously injured in a gunshot wound during an election campaign in Bijoynagar area on Saturday afternoon. He was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after being shot.
According to eyewitnesses and colleagues, during the election campaign, some miscreants suddenly arrived at the spot on three motorcycles. One of them shot Hadi, who was on a motorcycle, and fled quickly. The bullet hit Hadi in the head, said his colleagues who were with him. They said Hadi urgently needs B-negative blood.
Md. Faruk, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Police Outpost, said, “He was brought to DMCH with gunshot wounds. Doctors are initially treating him.”
DMP Motijheel Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Harun Or Rashid said, “We heard that he was shot in Bijoynagar area. We are not sure yet, our team has gone to the spot. Details will be shared once the team confirms it.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Media and Public Relations Department Muhammad Talebur Rahman said, “At 2:25 pm, miscreants came on three motorcycles. One of the motorcycles fired shots at Osman Hadi. After that, they quickly fled.”
Incidentally, Osman Hadi had posted on social media that he had received death threats from more than 30 domestic and foreign numbers last November. He said that he had been threatened with murder, setting his house on fire, and his family had been threatened terribly.
Tension prevailed in the area after the incident. Multiple police teams have started an investigation.
