Student politics is prohibited for students at Chuet

All forms of student politics have been banned in Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUTE). At the same time, all kinds of political involvement of teachers, officials and employees have been banned. This decision was taken in the 136th emergency syndicate meeting of the university on Wednesday. Later it was informed in a notification of the university.
According to the notification, 'University students and teachers/officers/employees are prohibited from involvement with all kinds of political organizations and their activities. Those who disobey this order will be punished according to the university rules.
Recently, ordinary students demanded the ban of student politics in various educational institutions of the country based on the anti-discrimination student movement. After that, Chuet University administration banned student politics.
