Nagar Baul James, the iconic face of the country's popular band Sangeet, has tied the knot again. His new wife is Namia Amin, now known as Namia Anam, an expatriate in the United States. This is James' third marriage.
James and Namia met in 2023, when Nagar Baul was on an American tour. They became close during a show in Los Angeles, which later turned into a successful relationship. After returning home from America, Namia also rushed to Bangladesh after hearing James' call. Then, on June 12, 2024, they got married and started living together at James's house in Banani, Dhaka.
The good news is that on June 8, 2025, their first child, Jibran Anam, was born at Huntington Hospital in New York at 3:35 am local time.
Namia's family is permanently living in America. Namia grew up in the United States and is also known as a dancer.
James was previously married to actress Rathi and currently an American expatriate, Benazir Sajjad. In 2014, his relationship with his second wife, Benazir, ended due to professional reasons, as Benazir wanted to settle permanently in the United States with his daughter, Jahan. James has a son, Danish, and a daughter, Jannat, with his first wife, Rathi, who are currently busy with the next stage of their university life.
James said about his new life,
“I am fine by the infinite grace of Allah. As long as I live, I want to sing. I ask for everyone’s prayers. Everyone should keep me in their prayers.”
This new life and the joy of fatherhood for Nagar Baul has added new enthusiasm to music fans.
