The price of gold in the country's market is the highest in history

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has once again increased the price of gold in the country's market. This time, the price of the best quality gold or one load of 22 carats (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk 984 and the new price has been fixed at Tk 1 lakh 19 thousand 544. This price is the highest in history. Sunday (May 19) which was 1 lakh 18 thousand 460 taka.
This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Sunday (May 19).
According to the notification, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new rates will be effective from Monday (May 20).
According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 19 thousand 544, 21 carat gold price is Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 109, 18 carat is Tk 97 thousand 803 and traditional method gold price It will be sold for 80 thousand 866 taka.
The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
