Allegations have been made of creating a fake Facebook ID in the name of AFM Khalid Hossain, the interim government's religious advisor, and posting misleading posts. Ikramul Haque, personal assistant of the religious advisor, has alleged that an attempt is being made to undermine respect through this.
An ID opened in the name of a religious adviser on social media has demanded the closure of all types of pornography sites in the country from September 1. When contacted for the response of the religious adviser, the personal assistant of the religious adviser claimed that the matter was fake.
He said that several fake posts were given in the name of religious advisers, including the closure of pornography sites, reduction of Hajj-Umrah expenses. Through this, a class is trying to defame the religious advisor. One should follow the post of the religious adviser on his personal ID and Facebook page for his speech.
He said that an effort is being made to verify the personal ID of the religious advisor to avoid the confusion of multiple and fake IDs. He urged everyone to be aware till the ID is verified.
Incidentally, it has been claimed through the post of a Facebook ID opened in the name of religious advisor AFM Khalid Hossain, "All pornography sites will be closed in Bangladesh from September 1, 2024." The government has taken this decision under the guidance of Bangladesh High Court. According to this directive, all pornography sites will be blocked for the next six months. Basically, this decision has been taken with the aim of protecting the moral and mental development of the youth. Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has already started implementing this directive.

Commenting on the post, ID further claimed, "The order to block pornography sites for six months is essentially a preliminary measure. This period has been set so that we can assess the impact of pornography sites during this period and take necessary legal and technical measures." Also, the authorities concerned have been directed to work out a long-term strategy to stop pornography sites and other obscene content within this six-month period. After this period, we can determine the next steps, such as permanently block the sites.
The post has seen massive reactions on social media. Many realized that the post was fake and alerted others. Many shared the post believing it to be true. However, this post is completely fake and the Facebook account does not belong to the Dharma Adviser, Ikramul Haque, the personal assistant of the Dharma Adviser confirmed.
