Trump reluctant to extend ceasefire, fears of renewed attacks if no deal

Amid the ongoing tension with Iran, US President Donald Trump has expressed his unwillingness to extend the ceasefire. He has indicated that if there is no agreement in the talks, the conflict may resume.
As the current ceasefire period is coming to an end, renewed tension has arisen around the second round of talks. Iran has said that they will not sit in on talks unless their specific demands are met. On the other hand, the United States is still expressing hope for a positive outcome.
In such a situation, Trump has made it clear that the possibility of extending the ceasefire is very low. In an interview, he said that the ceasefire will not be extended if there is no agreement and the United States does not want to go to a bad deal in any way.
He also said that there is no need to rush to reach an agreement, because they have enough time. However, he did not rule out the possibility of a renewed conflict if there is no progress in the talks.
In response to the question of where the situation will go if there is no agreement, Trump said that in that case the conflict may resume and that is a natural expectation.
It is worth noting that the two-week ceasefire came into effect on April 7. However, Trump's position on extending it has changed several times, which has made the situation even more uncertain.
On the other hand, Iran is adamant about its position. Tehran's main demands include war reparations and control of the Strait of Hormuz. According to analysts, the future of the talks remains uncertain due to the tough stance of these two parties and the situation could flare up again at any time.
