Secret visit or diplomatic haze? Uproar over Netanyahu in the Emirates

Amid the tension of the ongoing war with Iran, a wide discussion has begun in the diplomatic arena regarding the alleged secret visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Arab Emirates. Although news spread on Wednesday (May 13) night that Netanyahu's office had confirmed the visit, the UAE's Foreign Ministry denied the matter outright within a few moments.
New haze has been created in the statements of both sides regarding the visit. The Emirates claims that no such visit took place. However, Netanyahu's former spokesman Ziv Agmon claimed on social media that the Israeli Prime Minister was given a very warm and royal welcome in Abu Dhabi. According to his statement, Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed himself took Netanyahu from the airport to the palace in a private car.
Ziv Agmon also claimed that the achievements of this visit will be discussed by future generations. His statement indicated that the visit was not only ceremonial but also very important from a strategic perspective. However, no additional information has been officially released regarding these claims so far.
Meanwhile, Iran has reacted strongly to this issue. The country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claimed that they were aware of the visit in advance. He alleged that such relations with Israel are creating divisions in the Arab world and called it an "unforgivable crime". At the same time, he also warned that those involved will be brought to justice.
