In India, the teacher tried to rape the student in the classroom

A teacher attempted to rape an 11-year-old student in a school classroom in Kalaburagi division of Karnataka, India. He was arrested in this incident.
Local officials informed on Wednesday (August 14). The incident took place in a government school in Nimberg police station.
According to the police, the victim student is a class five student of the school. The accused teacher assaulted him after going to the classroom after having lunch. The student was alone in the classroom at that time.
The teacher threatened her not to make any noise and tried to rape her. But the student started screaming. The accused teacher then ran away from the school. The student then went home and told his parents about the incident.
His parents first interrogated the headmaster and then complained to the police. After that, the police raided and arrested the teacher.
A police source said that in the division where the incident took place, there has been a three-fold increase in cases of rape of minors.
Last June, a 13-year-old student was gang-raped in that department. After that there was a massive protest by the common people. The student was eight months pregnant when the incident came to light. Later he died in the hospital due to multiple organ failure. The student was raped by the alleged rapist for several months.
