Legal notice to RTV and Bangabandhu Sanskarti Jot

A legal notice has been issued against RTV authorities, Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance and others for allegedly portraying, writing, acting and promoting BNP founder and martyred President Ziaur Rahman in a stage play called 'Indemnity'.
Aggrieved on behalf of Shahid Zia's followers, Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Mir Haleem sent this legal notice on Thursday.
RTV Chairman Morshed Alam, Managing Director Humayun Kabir Bablu, Chief Executive Officer Syed Ashiq Rahman, Bangabandhu Cultural Association President and Actress Tarana Halim, Actors Saju Khadem, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Riaz Uddin Ahmed Siddique, Drama Director Mannan Hira, Former Vice Chancellor Professor of Dhaka University Dr. This notice was sent to AMS Arefin Siddique and Information Secretary.
Advocate Mir Halim, who gave the notice, said that the false and defamatory information presented about the martyred President Ziaur Rahman in the drama Indemnity should be removed from the media including social media within the next 30 days. Such acts should be avoided in future and public apology should be made. Otherwise appropriate legal process will be taken in court.
