Death of Jabir and Ifti The student Imtiaz Ahmed Jabir, who was killed in the inset of the photo, was shot by terrorists of BNP-Jamaat. During the complete shutdown program under the banner of anti-discrimination student movement, there was a clash in front of the Rampura police outpost in the capital on July 19. Imtiaz Ahmed Jabir (22), a student of Southeast University, and Kishore Ifti (16), a local workshop worker, were shot during the clash. They were taken to the Dhaka Medical College (DMH) hospital with bullet wounds and died there while undergoing treatment.
In this incident last Sunday (July 28) SI (Unarmed) of Rampura police station Nadeem Mahmud filed a case as plaintiff. According to the statement of the case, Jabir and Ifti were killed in random firing by unidentified terrorists of Jamaat-Shibir and BNP using the anti-quota movement.
