Police will come under law for unprofessional behavior: DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md. Mainul Hasan said that some amateurs and elite members of the police have turned the entire force against the people. He said this in a press conference at DMP media center on Saturday morning.
The DMP Commissioner said that 22 of the 50 police stations in the capital were burnt down in the anti-discrimination student movement, and many policemen were injured and killed. For which the army is still in a lot of fear. So it will take some time for the police to fully come back.
At that time, he informed that the entire force should be organized, he said that those who have behaved unprofessionally will be identified and brought under the law. Besides, those who used weapons during the agitation, including Awami League and Chhatra League, should also be brought under the ambit of the law.
