The university administration has shifted the students to teachers quarter 'Kapotaksh' in the old block of Khaleda Zia Hall of Islami University (EB) due to fear of electrical accident. The students of the academic year 2018-19 and 2019-20 of the old block were shifted to the first phase of the building on Monday (September 09) afternoon.

It is learned that on July 7 and 8 and September 2 and 4, an electrical short circuit fire broke out in the old block of the hall. Ansar and nannies will be deployed round the clock for their security. When asked about their food, he said, food will be brought here for them every time from the dining hall. Hopefully they won't have any problems. If after that they feel a security crisis, then the coordination panel and we will arrange additional security.
