Former Deputy Governor SK Sur Chowdhury arrested!

Former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Sitanshu Kumar (SK) Sur Chowdhury has been arrested.
Today, Tuesday, a special team of the Anti-Corruption Commission arrested him. ACC Public Relations Officer Md. Akhtarul Islam confirmed this matter.
According to initial information, SK Sur Chowdhury was arrested for not responding to the ACC's notice within the stipulated time.
It is worth noting that SK Sur Chowdhury served as an advisor after retiring from the post of Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank in January 2018. He is currently retired.
