Chief Advisor attends 47 events during 4-day visit to Davos!

Chief Advisor to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus is on a four-day visit to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting. During this visit, he attended a total of 47 events, including high-level meetings, panel discussions and media events.
Chief Advisor’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said that Dr. Yunus met four heads of government or heads of state, four ministerial-level dignitaries, 10 top executives of the United Nations and similar organizations, and 10 CEOs, as well as high-level business leaders during this period.
In addition, he participated in 9 organized events, 8 media engagements and two other special meetings. Despite the busy schedule of the WEF summit, Dr. Yunus discussed various issues with world leaders.
Dr. Yunus left Dhaka for Switzerland on Monday night. The next day, Tuesday, when he arrived in Switzerland at 5:20 pm Bangladesh time, he was welcomed by Bangladesh's Permanent Representative to Switzerland, Tarek Mohammad Ariful Islam.
