Speaking to reporters in London today, Tuesday, February 12, BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Zahid Hossain said, "Khaleda Zia is mentally better than before, because she is with her family members."
Dr. Zahid Hossain also said that Khaleda Zia has been undergoing treatment at a London clinic since January 8 and is currently under the care of doctors at the residence of her eldest son Tarique Rahman. She is receiving treatment under the supervision of renowned doctors Professor Patrick Kennedy and Jennifer Cross.
The doctor also said, "Some tests are being done from time to time, but so far her physical condition is stable." He urged the people to pray for Khaleda Zia's recovery.
Currently, Khaleda Zia is with her daughter-in-law Dr. Zubaida Rahman, Syeda Shamila Rahman and three granddaughters Barristers Jayma Rahman, Zahia Rahman and Zafia Rahman, who are taking special care of her. As a result, Khaleda Zia is in a much better mental state.
