National Assembly elections on February 12 are certain, people will vote 'yes' for change: Syeda Rizwana Hasan

There is no doubt that the national assembly elections will be held on February 12, said Syeda Rizwana Hasan, advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. She said that the elections will be held on time and the future of the country will be determined through the participation of the people.
She made these remarks while attending an outdoor program implemented by Bangladesh Betar and organized in collaboration with the Department of Mass Communication at Savar's Radio Colony ground on Tuesday afternoon. Organized under the project titled "Awareness Campaign for the Development of Children, Adolescents and Women", the program highlighted the referendum 2026 and various important issues of women and children. While talking to the audience and journalists present at the venue, the advisor explained the government's position on the elections and referendum.
The information and broadcasting advisor said that the people of the country are ready for change and they will vote 'yes' on February 12. He expressed his strong hope that autocracy will never return to the country through this 'yes' vote. In his words, the people's verdict will be the strongest foundation of democracy.
Also present at the event were Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Mahbuba Farzana, Additional Secretary (Development) and Project Director Md. Yasin, Joint Secretary Riasat Al Wasif and Director General of Bangladesh Betar ASM Zahid. They all highlighted the importance of the government's ongoing initiatives for the development of children, women and adolescents and increasing public awareness.
It is worth noting that at one stage of the event, Syeda Rizwana Hassan delivered her speech as an advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting through Sink and called for active participation of the people in the upcoming elections and referendum.
