New schedule for government offices to save energy: Three days in office, two days work from home

The government has set a new schedule for government offices to deal with the volatility of the global energy market. According to the new decision, three days in the office and two days from home (work from home) are being introduced.
According to the new schedule, government officials and employees will be present in the office on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. And they will conduct official work from home on Wednesday and Thursday. This decision has been taken to save energy and reduce pressure on the transportation sector.
The ongoing global situation, especially the conflict centered on Iran, has created pressure on the international energy market. To deal with its impact, the government is moving towards alternative methods of action.
According to relevant sources, this decision will reduce the use of office-going vehicles, reduce fuel costs and bring traffic congestion in big cities to some extent. At the same time, importance has also been given to maintaining the continuity of government work.
Earlier, proposals from various departments were discussed in the cabinet. It is learnt that the new schedule has been finalized on the basis of that discussion.
In addition, as part of energy conservation, the issue of introducing partial online classes in the education sector is also being considered. The government believes that these integrated initiatives will bring savings in energy consumption and will play an effective role in dealing with the current situation.
