Government Offering Free AI Training

The government has launched an initiative to provide free AI training to equip the country's youth with skills in modern information technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Organized by the Department of Youth Development under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, this two-month-long training program will be conducted across all districts of the country.
Participants will not be required to pay any training fees. Instead, they will receive a daily allowance of Tk 200 to cover commuting and meal expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
According to the notification, men and women aged 18 to 35 are eligible to participate. Applicants must have passed the HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) or an equivalent examination.
Additionally, basic knowledge of computers and information technology is mandatory. Candidates possessing proficiency in spoken and written English, alongside basic IT knowledge, will be given preference during the final selection.
Selection Process
Interested candidates must apply online. The deadline for submitting applications is 11:59 PM on September 23, 2026.
Following a preliminary screening, a written test will be held on September 26, and an oral test (viva voce) on September 27. Candidates will be notified of the exam schedule and venue details via SMS on their mobile phones.
The final results will be published on September 29.
Training Schedule
The two-month training program for selected participants will commence on October 1, 2026, and continue until November 30, 2026.
The training program will be conducted simultaneously across the country, with the eight administrative divisions grouped into four integrated packages.
