Lalmonirhat Teesta Battalion (61 BGB) Additional Director Major AFM Zulkar Nain said that there was no attack on minorities anywhere in the country. Addressing the minorities, Major AFM Zulkar Nain said, there will be no attack on you. Since there is no attack, you have nothing to worry about. We assure you. So stay in your own home. Keep in touch with us, we can keep you safe.
He also said, Hindu Muslim Buddhist Christian or any other religion we are all Bangladeshis. So providing their security is important to everyone. No harm was done to anyone belonging to other religions in the border area due to the concerted efforts of BGB BOPs. He said to cooperate with all kinds of administrations including the police.
At this time, the officer in charge of Hatibandha Police Station (OC) Md. Police and BGB members were present along with Mahfuzar Rahman.
