Branch students mourn the death of EB student

The convenor and member secretary of the branch student body expressed grief over the death of a student of Islamic University (EB) in a road accident. The deceased student is Monir Hossain, a 2022-23 student of the university's Arabic language and literature department.
This information was revealed in a statement signed by Rafiz Ahmed, a member of the convening committee of the university's branch Chhatra Dal on Thursday (September 26).
According to the statement, Monir Hossain, a student of the university, was injured in a tragic road accident on his way home after finishing classes and died while undergoing treatment at Kushtia Sadar Hospital. Convener of the university branch Chhatra Dal Saheed Ahmed and member secretary Masud Rumi Mithun have expressed grief over his death. The leaders prayed for peace and forgiveness of the soul of the slain student and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
Note that Monir's house is in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia district. His father's name is Bellal Hossain. At around 2 pm, a passenger Mahindra leaving from Kushtia collided head-on with a dump truck coming from the direction of Rajbari at Kalur Mor area of Kumarkhali in Kushtia. He was taken to Kushtia Sadar Hospital with severe head injuries. He died in the hospital while undergoing treatment.
