Chhatra Dal leader expelled in Panchagarh for breach of discipline

Vice-president of Bhaulaganj Degree College branch of Chhatra Dal in Chilahati Union of Debiganj Upazila of Panchagarh, Labu Islam has been expelled on charges of breaching organizational discipline and engaging in activities against party discipline.
District Chhatra Dal General Secretary Roknuzzaman Japan confirmed the expulsion to Soom Sangbad on Friday (September 12) night. Earlier, a press release signed by office secretary Anarul Islam Anwar went viral on social media Facebook.
The press release said that Labu Islam has been expelled from the college branch of Chhatra Dal, citing party positions. At the same time, Chhatra Dal President Tarekujaman Tarek and General Secretary Roknuzzaman Japan approved this decision. In addition, leaders and activists at all levels of the party have been instructed not to have any organizational relationship with him.
Roknuzzaman Japan said, “There have been specific allegations against Labu Islam of being involved in activities that are against party discipline. He has been expelled after considering all aspects and to maintain party discipline. Action will be taken against anyone in the party who violates discipline in the future.”
According to Chhatra Dal sources, through this decision, the organization is emphasizing the importance of adhering to discipline and all leaders and activists have been warned.
