A protest march and protest program have been held in Savar to protest against all anti-national conspiracies, including changing the July Charter without holding a referendum and signing a petition before the national elections.
This program was organized at the initiative of Savar Municipal Chhatra Dal leader Taj Khan in the afternoon. The protest march circled various roads in the municipal area and met at a protest rally.
At the protest rally, Taj Khan Naeem said, "The nation is being deceived in the name of running the country without a referendum. Any agreement or charter change without the knowledge of the people is a threat to the independence and sovereignty of the country."
He also said, "The Chhatra Dal was, is and will be on the streets to protect the country's democracy, independence and people's rights. The grassroots youth will be the forefront of resistance against any anti-national conspiracy."
Leaders and activists of Savar Municipal Chhatra Dal were present at the program.
