It is worth noting that the fire broke out in the house of Tuhin, a London expatriate, late on Thursday night and spread in an instant. 11 rooms and 8 shops were completely burnt down. Upon receiving the information, three units of the Savar Fire Service brought the fire under control in about an hour. According to the Fire Service, the fire caused an estimated damage of 3 million taka. Initially, it is believed that the fire may have started from an electrical short circuit. However, fortunately, no fatalities occurred.
