Ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary elections, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Maulana Ataur Rahman Bachchu, nominated by an 11-party alliance in Narail-2 constituency, has conducted a massive public communication campaign in favor of the beard symbol. He participated in this mass communication along with party leaders and activists at the Gochar Registry Office area of Ward No. 4 of Narail Sadar Municipality on Monday (February 2) at around 12 noon.
During the public communication, Narail District Jamaat Ameer and Narail-2 constituency MP candidate Maulana Ataur Rahman Bachchu exchanged greetings with the general voters and urged them to vote for the beard symbol in the upcoming elections. At that time, Narail District Youth Unit President Bappa Beg, Narail Sadar Municipality Ward No. 4 Jamaat Ameer Maulana Harun, District Chhatra Shibir President Salauddin Ahmed and leaders and activists of various units of the district Jamaat were present with him.
In a brief speech, Maulana Ataur Rahman Bachchu said that for the past one and a half years, he has been working regularly in Narail-2 constituency. He has gone door to door to talk to voters and tried to understand the hopes and aspirations of the people. He claimed that as a candidate of the 11-party alliance, he is getting a huge response from the people with the beard and palla symbol. Although he did not say anything directly about the victory, he said that the difference in votes with other candidates will make everything clear about the results.
He also said, “If Allah accepts me, then I will work with everyone to implement the plan I have for the overall development of Narail.” At the same time, he expressed optimism that the National Assembly elections will be held in a festive atmosphere on February 12. If anyone tries to create chaos on election day, the people will resist them with the help of the administration.
Finally, he said, "If there is a fair and impartial election, InshaAllah, everyone will be able to participate in the victory procession on February 12." This is the hope he conveyed to the people of Narail.
