13 Supreme Court lawyers elected with paddy sheaf symbol

Thirteen Supreme Court lawyers have been elected with paddy sheaf symbol in the 13th National Parliament election. Among them, BNP Vice Chairman and Bar Council Vice Chairman Advocate Zainul Abedin won in Barisal-3 constituency.

BNP Chairman's advisor and Supreme Court Lawyers Association President Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon won in Noakhali-1 constituency. Former Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman won from Jhenaidah-1 constituency, and Nationalist Lawyers Forum Secretary General and BNP Legal Affairs Secretary Barrister Kaiser Kamal won in Netrokona-1 constituency.

Former minister and BNP Vice Chairman Nitai Roy Chowdhury won in Magura-2 constituency, BNP Vice Chairman Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan won in Tangail-8 constituency, BNP Chairman's advisor Advocate Md. Fazlur Rahman, BNP's International Relations Secretary Barrister Muhammad Nowshad Zamir from Panchagarh-1 constituency and Co-Organizing Secretary Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin from Chittagong-5 constituency have been elected.

Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, Chief Coordinator of the Nationalist Workers' Party, from Pabna-2 constituency, Advocate Farzana Sharmin Putul from Natore-1 constituency, Barrister Hasan Rajib Pradhan from Lalmonirhat-1 constituency and Advocate Emran Ahmed Chowdhury from Sylhet-6 constituency have been elected as members of parliament with the paddy sheaf symbol.

Political analysts believe that these Supreme Court lawyers, elected with the paddy sheaf symbol, will play an important role in national politics by maintaining their ties with the country's law and justice sectors.
