Ishrak Hossain, a member of BNP's international affairs committee, said that Sheikh Hasina and her son, who fled abroad to thwart the historic victory of the students, are conspiring to destabilize the country by sitting abroad. Along with this, a special circle in the country is involved in this conspiracy in a planned manner.
On Monday (August 12) afternoon, he said this at the end of an exchange meeting with traders and locals of Islam Bazaar in Old Dhaka of the capital.
He said miscreants are trying to hurt political and religious sentiments by spreading rumors and attacking state assets and places of worship. They must be stopped.
He also said that despite the fall of Sheikh Hasina, her cronies have indulged in various conspiracies. There is a conspiracy to blame BNP, the most popular and widely accepted party in Bangladesh, for vandalizing religious places of worship separately. BNP is ready to resist all kinds of sabotage with the people.
This BNP leader said, our leader Tariq Rahman has given responsibility for your dice. And to stop all anti-national conspiracies with you. We have to maintain the status of the success we got through the movement of the students of this country for 15 years. Everyone should be patient to establish a democratic government through a fair election. To protect the country, our sacrifices should be dedicated to the formation of a modern and advanced democratic government.
Ishraq Hossain said, people have high expectations of BNP. We should respect people's expectations and give up our greed and jealousy. BNP is a peaceful party. I call upon the BNP leaders to fulfill their responsibilities to bring back the peaceful environment of the country.
Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Rafiqul Alam Majnu said, a group is trying to create an unstable environment in the country today, they must be stopped.
He directed the BNP leaders to stand by the side for the overall safety of the residents. At the same time, he urged the residents to be alert to prevent any unstable environment.
Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Member Secretary Tanveer Hasan Rabin spoke at this time. It was attended by the local BNP and its various organs and affiliates.
