Bangladesh lost due to batting failure

Bangladesh started the ODI series against Afghanistan with a loss. The Tigers lost the first of the three-match series by 92 runs. Chasing the target of 236 runs, the red-green representatives were all out for 143 runs due to the failure of the batsmen. With this victory, the Afghans took a 1-0 lead in the series.
After winning the toss and batting at the Sharjah Stadium in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday (November 6), Afghanistan lost 4 wickets for just 35 runs. However, the Afghans got a challenging capital of 235 runs in the fifties of Hashmatullah Shahidi and Mohammad Nabi.
Nabi scored 84 off 79 balls and Hashmatullah scored 52 off 92 balls. Taskin Ahmed and Mostafizur Rahman took 4 wickets each for Bangladesh.
Batting on a target of 236 runs, Bangladesh lost a wicket in the fourth over of the innings. Tanjid Tamim was dismissed by AM Ghazanfar after scoring only 3 runs in 5 balls for the team's 12 runs. Then Soumya started batting with the captain Shanto who came to the crease.
These two batsmen made a pair of 53 runs. But Soumya got out after scoring 33 runs off 45 balls in the team's 65 runs. After his departure, Shanto kept the wheels of the run going with Mehedi Hasan Miraj.
However, Shanto returned to Sajghar after scoring 47 runs off 68 balls for the team's 120 runs. After his departure, the Tiger batting line collapsed. Bangladesh lost 6 wickets in just 23 runs.
Miraj 28, Mahmudullah Riyad 2, Mushfiqur Rahim 1, Rishad Hossain 1, Tawhid Hriday 11 Shariful 1 and Taskin Ahmed returned to the dugout before opening the account of runs. In this, Bangladesh were bundled out for 143 runs in 34 overs. Ghazanfar took 6 wickets for Afghanistan.
