The Irish batsman paid a fine for breaking the ICC rules

Ireland won the only Test against Zimbabwe by 4 wickets in Belfast. However, Irish batsman Harry Tector had to pay a fine for breaking the ICC rules in that match. Along with a 15 percent match fee penalty, 1 demerit point is added next to the Tector's name.
The Irish were in danger when they came down to bat against the target of 158 runs given by Zimbabwe. Tector did not get a run with the bat. He returned with zero runs after playing 6 balls. Tector, dismissed by Zimbabwean pacer Garavar, delayed leaving the crease and was unhappy with the umpire's decision. Tector was also seen throwing his bat and gloves while leaving the field.
Tector has violated Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct by doing so. Where it is prohibited to show dissatisfaction with any decision of the umpire during the international match. Tector was fined 15 percent of the match fee as punishment. Also 1 demerit point has been added next to the name.
On-field umpire Richard Kettleborough, Sharfuddoula Saikat, TV umpire Mark Hawthorne, fourth umpire Jonathan Kennedy charged Tector. No formal hearing was required as Tector admitted all allegations and accepted the punishment handed down by the match referee.
