Practice of cricketers closed on the day of 'March to Dhaka' program

There is a state of chaos across the country centered around the 'anti-discrimination student movement'. Which has an impact on the Bangladesh national cricket team as well. The practice of the cricketers has to be stopped.
Now is the perfect time for the Bangladesh team to practice before the tour of Pakistan. But due to ongoing movement it is not possible to practice properly. Due to the non-cooperation movement and blockade called by the students on Sunday, Bangladesh Test and 'A' team did not practice.
Even on Monday, Bangladesh cricket could not get out of the trap of that movement.
According to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cricket operations, today (Monday) due to the anti-discrimination student movement 'March to Dhaka' program, the practice of the national team and 'A' team going to Pakistan has been stopped.
The news was confirmed to Jago News by BCB Cricket Operations last night. It was also informed that basically, considering the safety of the cricketers, coaches and supporting staff, it was decided to stop the practice for the second day.
All the foreign coaches have already returned to Dhaka after the World Cup vacation. Batting coach David Hamp and pace bowling coach Andre Adams were already there. The two foreign coaches were with the national team in the Chittagong phase as well. Head coach Chandika Hathurusinghe came to Dhaka last Thursday night. Trainer Nick Lee also came along.
Tigers' spin coach Mushtaq Ahmed set foot in the capital on Friday night. Besides, the chief assistant coach Nick Pothus arrived in Dhaka last Saturday night.
Meanwhile, all the cricketers of the national team except Shakib Al Hasan and Shariful Islam are staying in the country. The two cricketers are in Canada to play the Global Twenty20.
Pacer Shariful has been given AOC till August 8. And Shakib's 12 August. They will also join the team after the scheduled time.
