Bangladesh-India match venue change

India's international schedule for the 2024-25 season will begin with a series against Bangladesh. Where two teams will face each other in T20 and Test formats. One match of the series was changed to a venue on Tuesday.
The first T20 match between Bangladesh and India was scheduled to be played on October 6 at Dharamsala. Even though it is the same day, the venue of the match has been changed.
The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association is working on the development and renovation of the field infrastructure at Dharamshala. And that is why the venue of this match has been changed to Gwalior.
A new cricket stadium has recently been constructed in Gwalior. Name Srimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium. The stadium will be inaugurated with India-Bangladesh match.
The last match was held in Gwalior in 2010. India and South Africa faced each other in that match. That match made a place in cricket history. In that match, Sachin Tendulkar became the first cricketer to score a double century in ODI cricket against Dale Steyns.
Meanwhile, the venue of the India-England series match has also changed. The venues of the two matches have been swapped as per the pre-announced schedule.
