Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan visited the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for the first time after taking charge as the Youth and Sports Affairs Advisor to the Interim Government. The state was busy in Mirpur Sher-i-Bangla since morning to welcome the advisor.

The crowd of media workers was also noticeable. The home of cricket, which had stagnated in the face of political changes in the country, seemed to have come back to life in an instant.
Tamim Iqbal came to BCB before sports advisor. This former captain came to Mirpur Sher-i-Bangla around 12:30 PM. After a while, Asif Mahmud came. Asif visited the BCB president's box after the formal introduction. Then they entered the field from the building. BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan was also present at that time.

After entering the field, the new advisor walked from the front of the dressing room and went indoors. Former captain Habibul Bashar Sumon, Shahriar Nafisra were with him. Later, Asif Mahmud also entered the media room. Later they went to the academy building. Later, the new sports advisor spoke in a video message sent by BCB.
At the beginning Asif Mahmood said, 'After getting the new charge, I am looking at all the facilities under our sports ministry. I was supposed to go to BKSP today but could not go. Came here (BCB) wanted to see the infrastructure. I went around and saw everything.'

Regarding the meeting with women cricketers, he said, 'I met the women's cricket team. They are going to play the Women's T20 World Cup ahead and took note of the things that need improvement here. I hope I can fix them in the future.'
