The mercury temperature has increased slightly at the beginning of Falgun, but the feeling of winter is still there. At this time, fog was as strong as before from late night to morning. However, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain or thundershowers in the country at the end of the next 5 days.
Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mallick said that there will be dry weather with partly cloudy skies in different parts of the country in the next 3 days. There is no possibility of rain during this time. However, as before, there may be moderate to dense fog in the southern parts of the country from late night to morning.
He also said that the night temperature may decrease slightly across the country until 6 pm on Saturday, but the day temperature may increase slightly. Later, on Sunday, the night and day temperatures will increase slightly across the country at the same time. Although the night temperature may increase slightly until 6 pm on Monday, the day temperature may remain almost unchanged.
Last Friday evening, Tentulia in Panchagarh district recorded the country's lowest temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature in Dhaka was 19.2 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that there may be a possibility of rain or thundershowers at the end of the extended 5 days.
