In 2009, a developer built 25 luxury villas on the roof of a shopping mall in Hengyang, Hunan Province, China. Since these villas, built on an area of ​​​​about 20 thousand square meters, did not have government permission, it was initially decided to demolish them. However, later a condition was given - they can be kept if they are not sold. Currently, these villas are being used as temporary housing for migrant workers.

James May, a resident of the Surrey region of the United Kingdom, built a unique house in 2009 as his hobby. This house, built with about 3.3 million Lego bricks, had a toilet, shower, stairs, and even a bed. Although it was built with the help of about 1,000 volunteers, the house had to be demolished in the end due to the lack of financial resources.

However, the center of discussion, despite all these curiosities, is ‘The Ram Inn’ located in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, England. The house is about 875 years old. Built in 1145, this house was first used as a residence for workers building a church. Later, it became a priest’s residence, and then an inn.

It is said that the house was built on an ancient cemetery. Many guests have claimed to have heard the laughter and crying of children there. Some have seen strange shadows, and some have felt the presence of a disembodied monster called an incubus.

In 1948, John Humphries bought the house and opened a guesthouse. Currently, his daughter runs this haunted guesthouse.
