The tactic by which the notorious terrorist Subrata Bain was arrested

Subrata Bain is a fearsome name in the history of the criminal world of Bangladesh. There are more than 45 cases against him for crimes such as murder, arms trafficking, extortion and kidnapping. From 2001 to 2005, he committed brutal crimes under the umbrella of various political parties. After 2004, he fled the country and remained in hiding for a long time.
However, finally, this notorious criminal, who had been on the run for a long time, was arrested in a smart and tactical operation by the army. On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at around 8 am, the army arrested him along with one of his associates from a house next to the Sonar Bangla Mosque in the Kalishankarpur area of Kushtia.
According to army sources, the operation started at 5 am based on secret information and lasted for about three hours. Armed units of the army surrounded the entire area, and the house was brought under surveillance with great caution. Modern technology—drones, night vision cameras, and high-powered communication devices—was used in the operation.
It is learned that Subrata Bain had been hiding in various countries, including India and Nepal, under false identities since 2004. In late 2023, he returned to Bangladesh and took refuge in Kushtia in disguise. He had changed his location several times and kept his identity secret, but he could not escape the army's intelligence.
Locals said that they were terrified by the presence of the army since dawn. The entire area was cordoned off and restrictions were imposed on movement. It was later learned that a dangerous terrorist was hiding in the area.
The coordination of the army's commando unit and intelligence branch in the operation was very successful. Subrata Bain was arrested without any exchange of fire. He was then taken to Dhaka and kept in safe custody. His accomplice is being interrogated by RAB and other intelligence agencies.
According to crime analysts, Subrata Bain was not just a terrorist—he was the organizer of a large crime ring and the main strategist of a violent group that had developed under political asylum. His arrest is a major success in the country's internal security and will play an important role in breaking the crime ring in the future.
According to government sources, preparations are being made for a case against him in a speedy trial tribunal. In addition, investigations are underway into international contacts, money laundering, and political ties. The countrymen are hopeful that the arrest of Subrata Bain will bring an end to a terrible chapter in the country's criminal world.
